These developmental lessons take the student through all the major movement milestones from birth to walking.
Doing each of the lessons in order will fill in gaps in your movement vocabulary that may be preventing you from moving freely and easily.
These lessons are good for any movement issues as well as anxiety, depression and nervous system disregulation.
This also includes six Five-Minute Feldies, short video lessons, to reinforce the improvements of the audio lessons.
01 Mapping Yourself — explores how pressing different parts of ourselves into the floor and feeling how the impulse travels through us is the beginning of connections that are essential for walking.
02 Lifting the Head — explores how the back and belly support holding up the head against gravity.
03 Sphincters — explores the important connections the sphincter network contributes to our stability and mobility
04 Preparing to Roll Over — explores the coordination between the legs and the shoulders that is essential for upright walking.
05 Rolling Over — explores the various ways the hips and the shoulders coordinate so we can roll over.
06 Creeping — explores first ability to support ourselves against gravity and to move forward through space.
07 Looking Around — explores the movements of the eyes and how they connect with the head and neck.
08 Connecting the Eyes With the Pelvis — explores our connection with the eyes and the pelvis, an essential component to walking.
09 Coming Up to Sitting — explores the coordination of the shoulders and the pelvis more and more against gravity.
10 Crawling — explores our first ability to balance ourselves against gravity and move forward on our hands and knees.
11 Walking — explores the coordination of the shoulders and the hips in channeling gravity through the skeleton to come to standing and walking.
12 Vocal Integration — explores the connection between our breath and how we make sound.
