The Footbone's Connected to the Headbone #1

This series of  six audio lessons is a smattering of the Feldenkrais Method designed to improve your ability to move with your whole self from head to toe.

 

It includes lessons for improved movement in the hips and pelvis, the neck and shoulders and the spine. And, we will integrate these improvements for better balance and easier sitting and walking.

 

This series is great for balance and stability as well as the coordination of the movement of the shoulders and the pelvis, which benefits all upright movement.

 

Also included are Five-Minute Feldies for each lesson. They are short video lessons that you can do in five to ten minutes to reinforce the longer lessons.

 

  • Rocking Your Pelvis -- Connects the feet to the pelvis and the pelvis to the head. Balances the nervous system.

 

  • Pelvic Circles with Variations -- Integrates the movement of the pelvis with the head, ribcage and legs.

 

  • Opening the Ribcage -- Releases unconscious tension in the ribcage that restricts all movement including the breath.

 

  • Feeling Your Breath -- Brings your awareness to breath in places you didn't know you had breath. Balances the nervous system.

 

  • Coming up to Sitting from the Stomach -- A classic lesson that connects the movement of the feet through the pelvis to the shoulders and the head. And it is fun.

 

  • Hooking the Big Toe -- This lesson is the big finale for the whole series. It will confuse and delight you.
