This six-lesson series is designed to bring awareness to how the shoulders and the hips have to coordinate to move us through space with the least amount of effort and wear and tear on our joints.
These lessons will unmask the missing connections that are interfering with your ability to move freely through space. And they also bring a surprising sense of empowerment and well being.
Also included are Five-Minute Feldies for each lesson. They are short video lessons that you can do in five to ten minutes to reinforce the longer lessons.
- Hip and Shoulder Circles -- explores the simplest movements of the hips and shoulders and how they can coordinate.
- Pelvic Clock #1 -- explores the basic movements of the pelvis and connects those movements to the head through the spine.
- Relaxing the Psoas -- brings awareness to the tension that may be held in the psoas muscle that may restrict the movement of the hips and legs.
- Pressing Through the Foot -- finds the sweet spot where pushing into the ground supports the most efficient movement in walking.
- Prelude to Walking, Part 1 -- explores the most fundamental connections between the shoulders and hips for walking.
